It's been a blast getting to know many of you as you come to Patina, thanks so much for your support! A common conversation in the store has been about gifts for loved ones, with Christmas Crunch Time upon us. We've selected our artists this week to provide some great gifts to take care of several on your list, and some terrific stocking stuffers.
Bebecha is a creative powerhouse! Check out this list: Headbands, Earrings, Hair pins, Necklace Pendants, Rings, Pennant Banners, Cards, Onesies, and Binky Clips....woah. And it all comes in myriad styles.
Tom Designs
Check out the design and balance of this necklace! The jewelry by Tom Designs is both unique and elegant, the kind that starts conversations. Equally at home with a snappy top or an evening gown.
Birdseye Jewelry
Birdseye has been making some great jewelry for a while, and we are digging the new foray into fabric yo-yos (so named for their construction of wrapping a string around the center to bunch it up). To me, they look like bursts of pattern, like ka-Pow! here's your cool fabric. Brooches, necklaces, and hairpins in the yoyos, and beautiful earrings in a classic style.

Sleepictures
The art of Sleepictures is carried across the border of dreams by Teresa Flowers and presented for you to wear on belt buckles, pendants, and clothing. Teresa is also a talented and award winning fine artists, and we are honored to have a selection of her prints available in our store.
Retrostiletto
The Serious Cuteness returns for another week of dolling up Patina. Diana from Retrostiletto does girly like a pro with all sorts of variations of hair pins, earrings, rings, and hot pink makeup bags.
Academy J
Academy J is a group of three talented makers creating fun, pretty, and inventive headbands. Each one has a different style, and their output is quite impressive, so you are sure to find a few headbands that fit you.
Liesl Russell
How about a wreath that you can keep up both during Christmas and after? These wreaths are made in great colors that look seasonal all winter long. And you'll find these wreaths made by Liesl exclusively at Patina.
Most Adoringly
We adore the fresh textures and feels that the headwear by Most Adoringly has. A wide variety of construction, including crochet, layered fabric, and felting.
Memmy Love
June Cleaver had domestic hotness. She cooked and made it look good with a prime hairdo and an apron. Her aprons themselves, however, lacked a bit in the flair department. Memmy Love has the remedy with adorable patterns and lace to keep it lively.
White Elephant Collective
Great design doesn't have to stay on paper or on your wall. You should wear it, too. Wear it on your shirt, on your bag, on a necklace, or in your pocket (wallet style). White Elephant has you covered on all those bases. The WE style is a modern take on folk art with strong lines and a familiar balance to the images.

Easily Amused
Easily Amused is another of the "everything" makers, offering headwear, jewelry, embroidered clothing and bags, and more. We love her cute stuffed dolls.
Beehive Soap
It's time to give that cracking bar of Irish Spring the sendoff. It smells icky, looks like kryptonite, and who knows what it's really doing to your skin. Instead, try an all natural, handcrafted soap from Beehive. They're made from real ingredients (parabens need not apply) in small batches and come in a bunch of awesome flavors.

Ritzy Misfit
You've seen Ritzy Misfit's amazing pendant necklaces on The Bachelorette, on the Style Network, and on The Girls Next Door. I've worn mine nearly every day since the day I bought it in June. Each completely unique pendant features an initial or insignia stamped into molten metal. These are the original article, and are becoming harder and harder to get as the holidays move in upon us. We'll have a full selection of colors, stamps, and degrees of character.
Made by Matchgirl
Beat the boring notebook blahs with handbound beauties from Matchgirl. Each book is quality made with unique front- and back-boards, recycled paper, and metal eyelets to prevent the binding from tearing through. Matchgirl also makes felted pincushions that look like little dishes of the most perfect sorbet in existence. I'm going to have to restrain myself from eating them while they're in the store.
Bracitas
We hereby present to you the manifestation of Godiva Chocolates in headband form. Rich layers, exquisite combinations, and perfectionist detail all perform in each luxurious headband.
MDSparks
MDSparks has a solid hold on simply beautiful. She produces jewelry that is understated yet not minimalist, an elegant blend of detail and form that just looks phenomenal.
Paperclip Studio
You know what's cool? Cufflinks! And these great wool cufflinks from Paperclip Studio can be worn by both men and women to add fun and texture to the ends of your arms. We also have some equally inventive earrings in store from this former purveyor of the much-missed Mode Boutique.
Sarahndipities
Snow and Winter are finally here! That means hot chocolate, sledding, and bundling up. Stay warm and cute with Sarah's crocheted scarves, hats, and shrugs. And with the gift-giving season upon us, you'll want to check out her offering of handmade cards and tags to convey some holiday cheer.
Pixiepetals
Unfortunately, Pixiepetals was unable to show with us on our grand opening week, but we are very excited to present her creations in our store this week. You are probably a maker yourself, and might be constantly looking for
the right adornments and accessories for your projects...you'll want to
check these out. Pixiepetals expertly crafts these beautiful crocheted
flowers in myriad colors and sizes for use on all sorts of creations.
You'll also find handmade tags to give your holiday giftwrap extra
personality.
Johnnie Bean
Woah. Woah woah woah. Way cute overload. We were next to Johnnie Bean's booth at the recent Bijou Market to witness the ooos and coos as people strolled past the adorable baby footwear. Styles range from these tootsie toasters to street style.

The end of 2009 is drawing ever closer, and that means your Precious Kittens calendar is running out of pages. How about filling your new year (and decade!) off with great design, starting with a calendar from Mufn Inc. or NiftySwank?

SO apparently the food coma overtook us more than we had expected, so here we have Sunday's update today.
First off, we're offering free gift wrapping for the entire month of December!
More importantly, we have a little artist update for this week. Four fresh creatives have joined us to kick out the jams.
Candy Argyle
You like bold patterns and bright colors on fabrics. They're fun, striking, and they go surprisingly well with a lot of looks. Candy turns great fabrics into great stuff like luggage tags (never mistake your bags again!), bibs, christmas stockings, and clutch purses in three styles.Little Sister
Your daughters and nieces like pretty patterns and bright colors on fabrics. They also like to play house. They'll be the envy of the neighborhood play-mothers' social with the adorable aprons and dresses made by Maria of Little Sister. For your own kitchen (the one without the playskool sticker), LS offers beautiful handmade linen tea towels, hot-pads, and felted flower hairclips and pins (which aren't for the kitchen, but are hot in the same way). We also have a few of her ornaments in our tree, which looks awesome.
Phyllis and LaRue
...are real-life sisters that make jewelry as distinctive and fun as their names (which are actually Megan and Macie). Take for instance, the necklace in the pic above. Real stone, attractive handwound wire...looks like the expensive goods you get up at Sundance, right? 100% class. We also have on hand a bunch of their earrings made from satin buttons (a great selection) and their great fabric wrist cuffs.
Exclusively at Patina Market.
Allora Handmade
Jessica from Allora makes a mean rosette. And she puts that rosette with a bunch of other mindblowing rosettes on statement necklaces and headbands to make mindblowing accessories that will...well, blow your mind. She's really good.
